WHO?

Masking as an upstanding citizen of a global utopia, you endure your days knowing that there is one place, deep in the belly of civilization, where you can let loose your primal urges. You are a gladiator, willing to do anything to be the last person standing.

WHAT? 

 Slug Fest is a skirmish game meant to be played with (almost) nothing but a deck of cards and any flat surface. Slug Fest doesn't take itself too seriously. Expect a rules light, beer and pretzels, quick and easy experience. 

WHERE? 

The world is a utopia where everything and everyone works in global societal harmony. However, some humans, no matter how well they conceal it, have a tendency toward darker desires. Crime is forbidden, so giving in to these primal urges could prove fatal, yet there is one place where people can let loose. Deep underground, there’s a club—a space for those who are tired of perfection. It’s a place where letting loose and breaking someone’s jaw isn’t a punishable offense but is encouraged. Do you want in? It isn’t that easy; you’re going to have to fight for it.

WHY? 

As much as I love them, I find it more and more difficult to get skirmish games to the table. I wanted to create something that didn't feel like a chore to set up and tear down. Something that fit in my pocket rather than a crate. 

It's important to me to make games that are accessible to new players. I want to share this hobby with the world and think something like Slug Fest is less intimidating and more enjoyable than a game of 40k to a new player.
